BRITISH PIANO CONCERTOS

This album of piano concertos by Walton, Britten and Tippett will be released by BIS Records on the 10 October 2025. Recorded by pianist Clare Hammond, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and conductor George Vass, this is a vital and memorable portrait of the mid-twentieth century British piano concerto.

The album features the following works:

• Walton - Sinfonia Concertante (1927, rev. 1943)
• Britten - Diversions, Op. 21 (1940, rev. 1954)
• Tippett - Concerto for Piano and Orchestra (1953-55)
